Biology of Porphyromonas gingivalis

The genome sequence will benefit the whole P. gingivalis research community. Therefore, this section presents work of that community and emphasizes molecular pathogenesis studies to demonstrate that this organism, like other pathogens, has a molecular genetics infra-structure immediately available to use sequence information.

Pathogenesis studies

Vaccine development

Size of the P. gingivalis genome
